"You will either step forward into growth or you will step back into safety" - Abraham Maslow

I have naturally gravitated towards humanistic approach as it views individuals from a holistic point of view. And as I believe that an individual is much more than the struggles they deal with, and their ability to cope but rather inclusive of everything in between.

Her Thoughts on Counseling

Counseling isn't about advising and suggesting a solution, it is enabling the individual with the right tools and techniques to reach a solution on their own. Personally, counseling for me is a space where two individuals come together and form a unique relationship which is solely based on trust with an aim to foster growth and learning.

Why I Chose Counseling?

Counseling has helped me personally to a great degree, and now I would want to impart my knowledge and understanding of it with others. There is no better feeling than seeing an individual emotionally and spiritually at a better place by the end of the sessions.

Therapy Style

I employ therapy based on the client's concerns, largely combining various therapies like CBT, REBT, AND GESTALT and their techniques with an aim to meet my client's personal needs.

Concerns Close To My Heart

Individuals dealing with conflicted interpersonal relationships, stress, anxiety are the concerns that are close to my heart.

How I Handle Stress

Whenever I'm under stress or pressure, there are 3 quick fixes for me.

a) Listening to music, it is endless and there is so much to explore.

b) Talking to my closest ones.

c) Journaling, recording what I'm going through!
