Approach

Every individual has a unique personality that makes them special, therefore, I like to take a comprehensive view-point for every client, based on their needs. For a fulfilling therapeutic process, I try to work in equal partnership with the client. To achieve the same, I try to explore the concerns through Client Centered, Solution Focused and Strength based approaches.

Her Thoughts on Counseling

Counseling is a way to look into yourself and derive answers to the questions we all face at some point of time in our life. It aids the process of self-awareness, which eventually results in developing different perspectives to handle potential difficulties in future. Counselling is a space to foster confidence and growth within your self.

Why I Chose Counseling?

Counseling is one of the few things that really brings me joy. Being in the field of psychology has changed me on so many levels, be it personal, social or professional. I have witnessed growth within myself. Hence, I would like to offer the same experience to someone else out there, who is currently on their path of self-discovery.

Therapy Style

I believe everyone has their own strengths which makes them unique and one of a kind. It's important to become aware of these strengths to make life a little easier. Sometimes, it requires a third person’s perspective to gain the right direction of the path that we are on. Hence, I try to use a client-centred and strength-based therapy approach in my therapy sessions.

Concerns Close To My Heart

Each concern holds value to the client and therefore, it is my responsibility to give equal importance to every concern that the client brings in. I feel confident to take concerns related to anxiety, stress and relationships.

How I Handle Stress

On days when I don't feel 100% well, I try to spend some time with myself and engage with my emotions. I like to go out for a walk and have my comfort food. I try talking to my friends and reflect upon the situation at hand.
