“Find Yourself and …Be that” – Unknown

Well, my outlook regarding therapy and counseling is very simple. I prefer a clinically oriented empathetic approach in dealing with my clients. My preferred go to therapies are Solution Focused Brief therapy and Cognitive Behavior Therapy.

Her Thoughts on Counseling

The best aspect about therapy or counseling for the matter is that it is Universal and is applicable to each and every one of us. The universality of it in its application and also the fact that everyone requires it at some point in their lives helps not only in meaning making but also adding value to the “Joy of living”.

Why I Chose Counseling?

To simply put it, it is my passion and my calling. Humans and human relationships interests me and there is a lot to be done in alleviating the distress that surrounds each one of us on a daily believe. It is something that is healing in both respects. That is one of the driving factors that has pushed me to pursue this persistently.

Therapy Style

My therapy style is client centered but I like to gain a deeper understanding of the individual as a whole and not only in contexts that has shaped the individual. I prefer a clinical oriented outlook as well which is empathetic so that the client feels safe in sharing important aspects of their life. The purpose that I try to achieve is to help my clients achieve their best functioning sense of well-being through empathetic and evidence based counseling support.

Concerns Close To My Heart

Almost all concerns are close to my heart however if I had to choose amongst them it would be depression, anxiety and grief.
