My approach is person centered combined with CBT/REBT/Existential therapy- depending on what the client is most comfortable with. I am passionate about helping people find more balance, joy and fulfillment in their lives by focusing on their personal goals and utilizing a highly individualized and direct approach.

Many of us feel disconnected, unsupported, or overwhelmed. But even if you value independence and self-sufficiency, you don't have to "do it alone." Together, with creativity, curiosity, and humor, we can strengthen what is going well in your life or your relationship, and also work toward meaningful change. Counselling and therapy is a laboratory for you to explore, experiment, and practice behaviors that are daunting in the rest of life.

Why I Chose Counseling?

The causes of emotional suffering are generally woven into the fabric of our lives-how we live, how we view ourselves and others, how we connect with people (or fail to connect), what we desire and dread, what we know about ourselves and do not wish to know. Counselling and therapy is about understanding how that fabric is woven and can potentially be rewoven.

Therapy Style

My style is integrative, relational, and grounded in the present. We will pay attention to the thoughts, emotions, and physical reactions that arise for you in session, often within the context of past and ongoing experiences. And work on accepting yourself unconditionally.

Having a positive relationship with anxiety. Embracing solitude. Embracing being single.

A good book. Deep conversations over coffee. Healthy food. Mindful meditation daily.
